Court Demands Report in Fatal Delhi Jal Board Pit Incident

New Delhi: A Delhi court has ordered police to submit a detailed status report by February 13th regarding the death of Kamal Dhyani, 25, who fell into an uncovered Delhi Jal Board (DJB) pit on February 5-6.

  • Dhyani, a bank employee, died after falling into a 15-foot-deep pit in Janakpuri.
  • Two arrests have been made: a sub-contractor and a labourer, both now in judicial custody.
