Jaisalmer : Jaisalmer Basketball Academy participant Vikas Chaudhary is representing the Indian staff within the seventh Asian University Men’s Basketball Championship in Chinese Taipei. District Sports Officer and Academy Incharge Rakesh Bishnoi mentioned that Basketball Academy participant Vikas Chaudhary was chosen within the Indian University staff on the idea of his energy within the All India Khelo India University Games and his wonderful efficiency within the All India University Basketball Championship. The Indian staff left for Chinese Taipei on 31 August. Training taken at Jaisalmer Academy for six years: District Sports Officer Bishnoi mentioned that Vikas Chaudhary joined Jaisalmer Basketball Academy in 2017–18 on the age of 14. After staying in Jaisalmer Academy for six years repeatedly and receiving intensive coaching, he gained gold medal at nationwide stage within the age group of 14 years, gold medal in Khelo India National Youth Games, silver medal in Junior National Basketball Championship. Along with this, he participated in class 19-year-old nationwide competitors twice and performed an necessary function in getting gold medal for Jaisalmer Academy 10 instances on the state stage, bringing laurels to the academy and the state.
