The complete filling capability of the dams is 12664.43 MQM of water. This monsoon, 11157.50 MQM of the whole filling capability has been crammed. In 1994, the water stage of the dams had reached 85.76 p.c. The monsoon of 2002 was the driest in 34 years. During that point, there was solely 30.87 p.c of the whole filling capability.

Let us let you know that monsoon has left 10 districts of Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, after Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur districts, now monsoon has left Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner, Churu, Jalore, Pali and a few components of Sirohi.
