Jaipur: Even though lakhs of claims are being made for the prevention of seasonal diseases, the truth is that the medical department of the state remains unaware of the figures of increasing “deaths” of patients. Be it scrub typhus or dengue, the medical department is According to this, not a single patient has died due to these diseases in Rajasthan. Whereas the field reality is showing horrific figures of deaths. After the rainy season, the people of the state are in the grip of seasonal diseases. In view of the sudden increase in cases, the Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar and Principal Medical Secretary Gayatri Rathod are continuously reviewing district wise, but the department officials sitting at the headquarters do not seem at all serious about the statistics of diseases.

The surprising thing is that this year there have been 11 deaths due to scrub typhus in the biggest SMS hospital of the state, whereas now dengue is also showing the picture of death. If we talk about the last three days in the state, three patients including a government doctor have died. Have died due to the sting of dengue. Despite this, the officers sitting in the headquarters are still not accepting even a single death due to scrub typhus and dengue. They say that the report will come from the districts in a fixed format along with the death audit, only then the government figures will be included. Entered it. Will go.

Dengue is getting out of control in the state, headquarters itself is lagging behind in monitoring?:
-News related to government supply of data on seasonal diseases
-Dengue has taken the lives of three patients in Rajasthan in the last three days.
-Two days ago a female doctor died due to dengue in Dausa.
-Whereas a student taking ANM training in Kota has also lost her life.
Apart from this, there is news of death of a patient due to dengue in Pali also.
-Despite this information, medical department officers remain ignorant
According to the department’s data, till now 4227 positive cases of dengue have been reported in Rajasthan.
-The department has identified maximum 550 patients in Udaipur and 396 in Jaipur.
-But no death due to dengue has been registered in any district so far.
-Director of Public Health Dr. R.P. Mathur gave information regarding this entire matter.
-The Center has set a format for deaths due to diseases, which we follow.
-In case of death of any patient, complete summary along with death audit is received from the district.
-After this, after examining these documents at the headquarters, the death is recorded.
-We have written letters to all the districts several times asking them to send the records along with the complete process.

However, when Principal Medical Secretary Gayatri Rathod was talked to on this serious issue, she clearly said that the department is very serious towards seasonal diseases. In the districts where cases have increased, reports are being taken by sending officers from the headquarters. …leaves of all health workers have been cancelled. Rathod said that cases of deaths due to diseases will be checked,
Only if we accept the reality will we be able to address it. On the death of a doctor in Dausa, Rathod said that it would be appropriate to say something only after seeing the report.

Seasonal disease becoming fatal in Rajasthan:
-Sudden havoc of scrub typhus and dengue after the rains
-11 patients have died due to scrub typhus in SMS alone
-One patient died in the month of May, two in August and eight in the month of September.
-During this period, a total of 535 positive patients of scrub typhus have been identified.
-While in the last three days, three patients died due to dengue in different districts.
-Even though the government figure of dengue positive patients has crossed 4200
-But according to the field report this figure has reached more than 5000.
-The surprise is that despite all this the department is reporting zero deaths from both the diseases.
-Question asked to Chief Medical Secretary Gayatri Rathod in this whole matter
-So he said- We will get the cases of deaths due to diseases checked,
-Only if we accept reality we will be able to address it.
-Rathod said on the death of a doctor in Dausa – will say something only after seeing the report
Director Public Health Dr RP Mathur said, there is a death audit committee in every hospital.
-After examining the records, the committee includes the patient’s data in the report.
-Report of scrub “deaths” has arrived, will complete the protocol and include it in the report.
