Boondi: The Raithal police station of the district has arrested the robber bride and her two brokers from Indore. The Bundi district police was looking for the three for 18 months. A reward of 1 thousand rupees was introduced on every of the three accused.
District Superintendent of Police Hanuman Prasad mentioned that the accused Sapna Sharma, Savita Chavre and Lakhan Chauhan bought Ritu Verma married to Mahavir Sharma, resident of Khatiyadi on 14 February 2023 and took two lakh twenty thousand rupees. The bride absconded simply 4 days after the wedding. When Mahavir requested for the cash again, he was not provided that too. After this, he lodged a case at Raithal police station. During investigation, the police discovered that Sapna Sharma, Ritu Verma, Savita Chavre and Lakhan Chauhan have been residing in numerous colonies of Indore by altering their identities.

The marriage was organized by a relative: Police station officer Surjeet Singh mentioned that after investigation, the police first arrested Sapna Sharma. Sapna was Mahavir’s relative. She had organized Mahavir’s marriage with Ritu Verma. Ritu had absconded simply 4 days after the wedding. Apart from this, Savita Chavre and Lakhan Chauhan have been absconding for 18 months. The police fashioned a particular group and raided many locations. Later, when technical means have been used, their location was proven to be Indore. The police lastly arrested all three from totally different settlements of Indore. They have been arrested and introduced within the courtroom, from the place they have been despatched to jail.
