Jaipur: The spell of rain continues within the monsoon season. Meanwhile, the Water Resources Department has launched the division-wise rainfall information in Rajasthan. The information from 1 June to 31 August has been launched, in accordance with which Jodhpur division has recorded 109 p.c extra rainfall than regular. Bikaner division has acquired 83.1 p.c extra rainfall than regular.
Apart from this, Ajmer division has recorded 73.4 p.c extra rainfall than regular, Bharatpur division has recorded 73 p.c extra rainfall than regular, Jaipur division has recorded 72.3 p.c extra rainfall than regular, Sikar division has recorded 46.8 p.c extra rainfall than regular, Kota division has recorded 20 p.c extra rainfall than regular, Pali division has recorded 12.4 p.c extra rainfall than regular, Udaipur division has recorded 11.6 p.c extra rainfall than regular and Banswara division has recorded 2.2 p.c much less rainfall than regular.
Rajasthan has acquired 57 p.c extra rain than regular thus far. 25 districts of the state have recorded 60 p.c extra rain than regular. 16 districts have acquired 20 to 59 p.c extra rain than regular. Whereas 9 districts have acquired 19 p.c extra rain than regular.
