Bharatpur : Baba Vijaydas dedicated suicide 2 years in the past in Pasopa village of Deeg district to cease unlawful mining. The investigating officer has proposed FR within the case, on which IG Rahul Prakash expressed disagreement and handed over the file to Additional SP of Kaman for investigation.
IG Rahul Prakash stated that the sadhus had staged a protracted sit-in protest to cease the mining on the Kankanchal and Adibadri hills of Deeg district. When the federal government didn’t take heed to them regardless of the sit-in protest that continued for about one and a half years, Baba Vijaydas tried to commit suicide. After this, he was handled and died in Delhi.
The police registered a case and investigated the matter and now the investigating officer has proposed an FR within the case, however I don’t agree with it. The file has been handed over to Kaman Additional SP for re-investigation. An neutral investigation will likely be performed within the case. : Rahul Prakash, IG

This was the case: Mining was happening on the spiritual locations of Deeg district, Adi Badri Dham and Kankanchal mountains. To cease mining within the space and save the mountains of spiritual significance, Baba Vijaydas and different sadhus began a sit-in in Pasopa village of Deeg district on 16 January 2021. Gradually, numerous sadhus joined the sit-in and the sit-in took a much bigger kind. They alleged that even after a sit-in of about 551 days, the then authorities didn’t hear, as a consequence of which Baba Vijaydas tried to commit suicide on 20 July 2022. Baba Vijaydas was handled in a hospital in Delhi, however Baba died on 23 July. Later, the state authorities constituted an inquiry committee within the matter and 757.40 hectares of space was declared a forest space.
