Politics has heated up over the indecent conduct of Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee (Kalyan Banerjee Suspended) within the assembly of the Joint Parliamentary Committee relating to the Waqf Amendment Bill. Kalyan Banerjee has been suspended from the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Waqf Bill for his indecent conduct within the assembly. Banerjee has been suspended until the subsequent assembly. On the opposite hand, BJP leaders are demanding Congress and Indian alliance leaders to make clear their stand relating to this conduct of TMC MP.
MP broke water bottle in assembly after debate

The argument between BJP MP Abhijit Gangopadhyay and Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee escalated a lot that Banerjee broke the water bottle. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat took a dig on the leaders of Indi alliance
Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Wednesday stated that leaders of the opposition ‘Indi’ alliance together with Rahul Gandhi ought to make clear their stand on the conduct of Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee. Banerjee on Tuesday broke a glass bottle containing water and threw it in the direction of the chairman of the committee throughout the assembly of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) which was contemplating the Waqf Amendment Bill. After this dramatic incident, Banerjee was suspended for a day.
He stated, “The way Kalyan Banerjee has behaved is not only an insult to parliamentary traditions, parliamentary institutions, the Constitution and constitutional arrangements but is also an insult to the trust of lakhs of voters who elected him to Parliament.”
He stated that such insult can’t be accepted in any respect in a democratic system. Shekhawat stated, “I want to ask all the leaders of Congress Party and Indi alliance what is their stand in this matter.”
He stated, “My challenge to all the parties from Rahul Gandhi to the ‘Indi’ alliance is to either deny this issue or answer the people of the country as to what they should do about such undemocratic behaviour. It’s the mentality.”
