Jaipur: The electoral chessboard for by-elections has been laid on 7 seats in Rajasthan. 94 candidates have filed nominations for 7 meeting seats. Maximum 21 candidates have filed nomination from Dausa Assembly seat. At least 7 candidates filed nomination for Salumber seat.

Now the nomination papers of the candidates shall be scrutinized until twenty eighth October. After this, the time for withdrawal of nominations shall be until thirtieth October. Yesterday, on the final day, BJP, Congress, RLP, BAP candidates filed nominations. BJP eliminated the resentment that arose after ticket distribution. Naresh Meena of Congress filed unbiased nomination from Deoli-Uniara seat. Congress chief Raghuveer Meena stayed away from Reshma Meena’s nomination in Salumbar. In Jhunjhunu, former IAS Ashfaq Hussain and former minister Rajendra Gudha are additionally within the fray. On the opposite hand, Congress chief Durg Singh joined BJP on Khinvsar seat.
