Jaipur : Expressing concern over the low proportion of Aadhaar registration of youngsters, Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant has given vital directions. Aadhaar registration is 24.30% within the age group of 0 to five years. Out of the 7855074 inhabitants on this age group, Aadhaar is but to be made for 5947267 i.e. 75.69%.
There is 93.55% Aadhaar registration within the age group of 5 to 18 years. In this age group, out of 20527840, 1324076 i.e. 6.45% registration is pending. In the age group above 18 years, 113 % enrollment is being thought of.
5 crore 26 lakh 42 thousand 80 have been enrolled on this age group. In such a state of affairs, CS Sudhansh Pant has expressed concern over low enrollment within the 0-5 age group. There is a pendency of 1.32 crore in obligatory biometric updation within the state.
Instructions have been given to cut back it in a deliberate method. Instructions have been given to expedite the method of creating Aadhaar for this age group. The directions have been accepted on the file.
