Jaipur: The Central Government has accepted Rs 35.84 crore as 100% central help to eight cities of the state for electrical infrastructure improvement behind the meter below the Pradhan Mantri e-Bus Service. Along with this, Rs 8.62 crore has been launched as the primary installment by approving Rs 34.47 crore for 7 cities for civil depot infrastructure improvement of Pradhan Mantri e-Bus Service.
Expressing gratitude to the Central Government, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma stated that in accordance with the imaginative and prescient of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the operation of e-buses will quickly begin within the state below PM e-bus service. Through the e-bus service, together with growing the effectivity of city transport within the state, environment-friendly transport service may also broaden.
It is noteworthy that for the event {of electrical} infrastructure (behind the meter), 100% quantity has been launched for the deposit work to be achieved by the Discom and 25 % of the accepted quantity for the remaining work has been launched as the primary installment. Whereas for the civil depot infrastructure improvement, 25 % of the overall accepted quantity has been launched as the primary installment of the 60 % share of the Central Government.
Under the Pradhan Mantri e-Bus Seva, this approval has been given for electrical infrastructure improvement and civil depot infrastructure improvement for Nosar Ghati depot in Ajmer metropolis, depot close to Khasra No. 1931 Toll Plaza in Alwar, Naal Road, Sharah Nathanian depot in Bikaner, Mohanlal Sukhadia Nagar Yojna in Bhilwara, Tanki Balaji depot, Jhalamand depot in Jodhpur, Subhash Nagar depot in Kota, Dhol Ki Pati depot in Udaipur. Along with this, monetary approval has been given for electrical infrastructure improvement for Todi and Bagrana depots in Jaipur metropolis.
