Jaipur: There shall be a ban on transfers of officers and workers related to election work from October 29 to January 6, 2025. The Administrative Reforms Department has issued orders on this regard.
According to the orders, there shall be a ban on transfers of District Election Officer, Deputy District Election Officer, Assistant Election, BLO and Supervisor associated to the particular temporary revision program of voter lists from 29 October to six January 2025. During this era, there shall be a quick particular revision program of voter lists.
This ban has been imposed in compliance with the rules of the Election Commission of India in order that the work of voter lists will not be affected. However, in pressing circumstances, it will likely be essential to take permission from the Election Commission and the Chief Electoral Officer for transfers.
