Jaisalmer: The arrival of migratory vultures has began in Jaisalmer. Vultures have camped at many locations within the district. Migratory birds have reached right here from chilly areas world wide. Till now greater than 200 vultures have reached Jaisalmer. The household of birds has come to Jaisalmer after touring an extended distance of hundreds of kilometers.
Migrant vultures have reached the Oran of Dholiya and Bhadaria villages. Also, vultures have been seen in DNP and Degrai Oran of Fatehgarh. Along with Himalayan Griffon Vulture, Eurasian Griffon and Cinereous Vulture species have additionally moved to the district.
These birds will now migrate within the district for about 4 months. Will return with the onset of summer season season. Till now greater than 200 vultures have reached Jaisalmer.
