Jaipur: The Agriculture Department has elevated the realm of Rabi sowing. The impact of bumper rain can be seen in Rajasthan. The division has launched the goal of Rabi sowing. A goal of sowing 1 crore 19 lakh 95 thousand hectares has been set.
Last 12 months, sowing was performed in 1 crore 12 lakh 71 thousand hectares. Wheat is 32 lakh hectares, barley 3.80 lakh hectares, gram 22.50 lakh hectares, mustard 40.50 lakh hectares, different Rabi pulses 37 thousand hectares, Taramira 2.30 lakh hectares, linseed 18 thousand hectares, different spice crops and greens 18.30 lakh hectares.
