Jaipur: 83.52 % of the overall filling capability of the dams in Rajasthan has been crammed. So far 357 dams within the state have overflowed. The whole filling capability of the dams in Banswara division has been reached to 92.73 %.
Kota division’s dams have acquired 91.93% of their whole filling capability. Jaipur division’s dams have acquired 81.81% of their whole filling capability. Udaipur division’s dams have acquired 65.54% of their whole filling capability. Jodhpur division’s dams have acquired 58.05% of their whole filling capability.
If we speak about Bisalpur dam, the discharge from downstream is constant on the fifth day. The 6 gates of the dam are being opened and the discharge is being performed downstream. All the 6 gates are being opened at a peak of 1 meter every and the discharge is being performed. A complete of 36 thousand cusecs of water has been discharged from all of the 6 gates. The peak of Triveni within the filling space of the dam is 3.90 meters.
