Rajasthan News: The authorities is constantly giving directions concerning highway development in Rajasthan. Even within the funds, the federal government had made bulletins for highway development price crores. Now, in implementation of the funds announcement 2024-25, the federal government has expanded 270 km in 158 city our bodies. An quantity of Rs 180 crore has been authorised for the development of roads. The authorities has mentioned that the roads will probably be constructed by the Public Works Department. For this, administrative and monetary approval has been issued for 728 highway development works in 158 our bodies.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has mentioned that it’s our precedence to make the state primary within the nation when it comes to highway connectivity by growing the highway community of nationwide highways, state highways, district roads, rural roads together with city our bodies within the state. He mentioned that beneath the funds announcement, roads are to be constructed by the Public Works Department at a value of Rs 317.50 crore in 295 city our bodies.

- Rs 3 crore for five works of three.8 km highway in Shahpura district.
- Rs 8 crore for 40 works of 18.6 km highway in Didwana-Kuchaman district.
- Rs 5 crore 40 lakh for 25 works of 6.8 km highway in Karauli district.
- Rs 3 crore 40 lakh for 20 works of 8.5 km highway in Bikaner.
- Rs 7 crore for 10 works of 6.2 km highway in Hanumangarh district.
