Two weak tornados touched down Wednesday mid-day west of Cornwall, Ont., based on a Western University hurricane examine group.
The 2 hurricanes struck Morrisburg, Ont., and a location southwest of Newington, Ont., the Northern Tornadoes Project (NTP) said in a social media post Saturday.
The Morrisburg hurricane had truly an approximated optimum fee of 115 km/h and created small damages to a gazebo, a fencing and a few bushes, the group acknowledged.
There’s been no proof but of any sort of damages concerning the Newington- location hurricane, NTP acknowledged. Its approximated wind fee was not launched.
Both hurricanes have been categorized as EF-0 on the boosted Fujita vary– essentially the most reasonably priced possible rating– though the Newington- location hurricane’s class is an preliminary one.
No accidents have truly been reported, NTP acknowledged.
