JASIN: SWM Environment and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a vital collaboration targeting public training and studying and recognition.
The marketing campaign intends to enhance interplay, training and studying and public recognition, particularly in areas related to lose monitoring and ecological sustainability, said SWM Environment’s General Manager (Corporate), Mohd Norlisam Mohd Nordin.
He said that the MoU places substantial significance on knowledge-sharing regarding lasting waste monitoring.
“This includes fostering a culture of waste separation at the source to facilitate recycling efforts,” he said after the finalizing of the MoU on Friday (Feb 28).
The MoU was checked in an occasion at UiTM Melaka Campus proper right here, with SWM Environment stood for by Mohd Norlisam and UiTM by its Rector, Prof Datuk Ts Dr Mohd Rasdi Zaini.
Mohd Norlisam said SWM Environment and UiTM have truly accepted work collectively in several areas, consisting of r & d pertaining to public recognition initiatives, waste monitoring options and reusing campaigns.
“As a concessionaire responsible for waste management and public cleansing services in the country, SWM Environment is honoured to work alongside UiTM in conducting research that encourages behavioural change towards a more sustainable and environmentally conscious lifestyle,” he said.

Prof Dr Mohd Rasdi in his speech invited the partnership, revealing gratitude for SWM Environment as a vital companion in enhancing research and proficiency sharing within the space.
“This partnership also provides an opportunity for members of higher education institutions, such as UiTM, to exchange knowledge, expertise and technical skills with SWM Environment,” he included.
