WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Two united state legislators slammed the Justice Department’s attraction handle Boeing struck in July and claimed the federal authorities must act versus the planemaker’s execs “responsible for safety failures,” in keeping with a letter seen by Reuters.

Democratic Senators Richard Blumenthal and Elizabeth Warren in a letter dated Wednesday to the Justice Department claimed the federal authorities had truly stopped working to carry Boeing answerable for a a group of safety issues over the previous few years.

“It is past time for DOJ to take action against corporate executives at Boeing who are responsible for putting passengers and workers at risk in violation of federal laws and regulations,” the letter claimed.

Boeing decreased to remark. The Justice Department validated it had truly gotten the letter and decreased to remark.
