A “world full of aliens” has really been found by scientists in a gap on the facet of a barren Aussie hillside.

The impressions on the sandstone have been digitised and measured so additional analysis may be carried out.
“We look at how they are distributed on the fossil surface and how they grow,” García-Bellido defined. “How the juvenile is totally different to the grownup, and what’s the spatial relationships between every of the organisms.
“What this is telling us, is the world back then was much more complicated than we expected. We are finding things that have never been discovered before.”
