Delhi Municipal Corporation Demolishes Illegal Structures Linked to Holi Clash Accused
New Delhi – The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) conducted a demolition drive Sunday, targeting illegal portions of a house belonging to an accused in the Uttam Nagar Holi clash case, which resulted in the death of 26-year-old Tarun on March 4.
- The demolition focused solely on illegally constructed parts of the property.
- Heavy police and paramilitary forces were deployed to maintain order.
- The clash, stemming from a water balloon incident, escalated due to long-standing disputes between neighbors.
- Police have arrested six individuals and apprehended a minor in connection with the case, invoking murder charges and the SC/ST Act.
