Rajasthan Job Scam Unraveled by Typo; 20 Arrested
Jaipur, Rajasthan – A misspelling led to the exposure of a job recruitment scam, resulting in the arrest of 20 individuals this week, according to Rajasthan Police.
- The suspects allegedly used fraudulent sports certificates to secure government teaching positions during the 2022-23 third-grade teacher recruitment.
- Authorities discovered a fake email used to forge verification reports after noticing “secreatary” misspelled in the address.
- Raids were conducted across 14 districts in Rajasthan and one location in Haryana.
- Those arrested face charges including cheating, forgery, and violations of the Information Technology Act.
