India Aims for $200 Billion in Textile Exports by Leveraging FTAs
New Delhi – India’s textile industry is setting ambitious targets, aiming for $200 billion in exports, according to Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh. Speaking at the Bharat Tex 2026 launch, Singh urged diversification and specialization within the sector to capitalize on the $465 billion market access provided by Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
