Delhi Faces Water Supply Disruption Due to Infrastructure Work
Delhi residents are bracing for water supply disruptions across several areas starting Wednesday, February 25th, lasting 48 hours. The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) announced the interruption is due to crucial interconnection work on a 1500 mm diameter raw water line at the Dwarka Water Treatment Plant.
- Duration: 48-hour disruption, starting February 25th.
- Reason: Interconnection work on raw water line.
- Impacted Areas: Dwarka, Uttam Nagar, Najafgarh, IGI Airport, and numerous other colonies and villages (see list).
- DJB Advice: Residents urged to store sufficient water. Water tankers will be available.
