Bhubaneswar – Union Minister Annapurna Devi urged Odisha to bolster nutrition initiatives by implementing ‘Tithi Bhojan’ and ‘Poshan Diwas’ in Anganwadi centers.

* The suggestion was made during a Women and Child Development Department review chaired by Deputy CM Pravati Parida.
* Parida highlighted women’s empowerment and child safety as top priorities, announcing the Subhadra Yojana’s fourth installment disbursal on International Women’s Day.
* Discussions included Mission Vatsalya, Ashirbad, and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, focusing on challenges in remote areas, malnutrition, and child marriage.
